We are Bob & Linda Ausbourne. We thrill in the pursuit of finding your "missing" ancestors, almost as much as finding our own. We love family tree research and keep our rates low so that we stay active.

Bob is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, having 8 years experience as a professional genealogist, but over 40 years in pursuing his own fore bearers. Linda is a highly competent professional in her own right, specializing in documentation and data entry. She has over 20 years experience hunting ancestors.

We are adept at working any area of the United States, but steer clients toward other  knowledgeable professionals in areas outside the U.S. We can work on any type project that you wish, e.g. ancestral and/or descendant searches as well as specific "brick wall" conundrums.

We are devoted to pleasing our customers. We try never to undertake a project that we feel at the outset will not be rewarding in some manner for our client. That is why we offer a free preliminary search to see if we honestly think we can be of assistance. Being upfront and truthful is of paramount importance to us.

While you can submit your info to us for research in many different ways, e.g. using our Ahnentafel form page, explaining the project via email, sending a GEDCOM, etc., we now suggest that you take advantage of Ancestry's generous offer of a free chart on their site. You can arrive at that destination by simply clicking the ad for same on this page. You will only be prompted for your name and email and not personal info such as credit card, etc. After filling out your name and your parents names on their site, they will ask you to name your chart and ask whether you want others to view your chart. We suggest that you start by saying "no" and keeping the chart "private". You can always change this decision later, after proper source material has been added. At this point you will also have the opportunity to "Invite Family". Please invite "Bob Ausbourne" at bob@treesearches.com and put me down as "Editor". By doing this, I can enter the source material that I find such as census records, military draft registrations, etc. This is a great offer from the Generations Network people and we would like to share in creating a site that your entire family can be proud of.
