Our Research Rates
$12 per hour
We are holding the line on our $12 per hour Internet research rate, but are doing away with the 10 hour blocks for $100. Instead, we are replacing the latter with an "earned rate". We offer all our clients the opportunity to try our services the first time for 2 hours for $8 (TOTAL). This gives you, the client, the opportunity to see what we are capable of doing on your behalf. After the two hour period, we should be able to determine whether more time would be cost effective for you. If you do, indeed, decide to have us proceed, you can purchase as little as 1 hour at a time at $12 per hour for hours 3 through 10. After you have attained a 10 hour plateau, you will be eligible for the "earned rate" of $10 per hour.

Genealogical Data Entry
While we are holding fast at our $12 per hour research rate (with a $10 per hour earned rate after 10 hours), we find it necessary to raise our data entry rate to $10 per hour. The reason for this is that there is hardly a time when Linda doesn't have to combine research with data entry. We are also doing away with printing of family journals. This does not mean that we will not be there to help those who have software programs capable of printing these journals. It is just not practical to print these journals and send via the mail. We can send you an updated GEDCOM or a file from which you can directly print. Another motivation for doing away with anything but direct electronic transfer is the fact that the State of Florida requires that we collect state sales tax on fellow Florida residents if any physical property changes hands. This means that we can e-mail info and even help you set up to print-out, but just can't send you anything tangible. While it only applies to Florida residents, we have decided to follow this path with all clients.
